In Monteverde, at the end of the year 2000, circumstances lead a Costa Rican man to make one of the most important decisions of his life. While the construction of his own house was on, the idea to convert it into a small luxury hotel in the Cloud Forest of Monteverde came out, and after a lot of careful planning and hard work, the result was a beautiful and cozy hotel in the mountains of Costa Rica.

For the nature enthusiast Monteverde offers some of the best’s chances of observing wildlife. Mammals and beautiful birds such as the Quetzal, thousands of plants, insects and other organisms are present in the Cloud Forest. One of the most outstanding ecosystems on the planet.
